Aptos Soccer Club  provides 2 levels of soccer.

Class 4: (sometimes referred to as Recreation or In-House) This level is for all youths, boys and girls, between the ages of 4 and 18, with or without soccer experience. No tryouts are required for this level and teams are assembled during August.

Class 3: (referred to as Division 3 or Advanced) This level is for boys and girls that have soccer experience and want a higher level of play and want to develop their skills further. Tryouts are required, with a teams coaching staff putting the players through a selection process.

Class 1 (Not provided by Aptos Soccer Club, but by the Santa Cruz County Breakers): This level of soccer is for boys and girls that have the ability and desire to truly play at the highest level possible. These teams usually consist of the best players in the county. In addition, the teams play in tournaments throughout the state and sometimes out of state.

If you would like to coach you get to select the practice location (if available) and time, so please consider volunteering to be a coach.  Coaches for Class 3 go through an application, review and approval process. This is to help insure the players get the best coaches possible. If you were a Class 4 coach last year and want to move up to Class 3, you will need to submit an application through the Advanced Soccer Coordinator.

Players wanting to be on either a Class 3 team must go through the tryout process. Interested players should work on keeping their soccer skills up during the off season. If you have any questions please contact the Advanced Soccer Coordinator.
