Aptos Soccer
Club provides two levels of soccer:
Recreational: This level is for all youths, boys and girls,
between the ages of 4 and 18, with or without soccer experience. No
tryouts are required for this level and teams are assembled during
August. All games are played in Aptos or nearby communities, and
registration takes place in spring.
Advanced: (Formerly Division 3) This level is for players that
have some soccer experience and seek a higher level of play, wishing to
develop their skills further. Players are selected by tryout in the
spring, and play can be year-round. More information can be found on

Coaching at either level can be a very rewarding experience, so please
consider volunteering. The club is always looking for more coaches.
Coaches for competitive soccer must go through an application, review
and approval process to ensure high quality coaching, and that the
coaches are a good fit for the team. They must also complete coaching instruction and obtain licenses
provided by CYSA. If you have an interest in coaching at the
competitive level, please contact the Advanced Soccer Coordinator.
Players who want to try out for a competitive soccer team should
determine the appropriate age team using our age calculator, and should watch the Tryout schedule to learn the appropriate
time to attend.
