Aptos Recreational Soccer

Aptos Soccer Club's Fall- and Spring Recreational Leagues aim to provide affordable programs where kids have fun, improve their soccer skills, and develop sportsmanship and a love for the game. All teams are led by volunteer parent coaches. A professional coach/trainer will provide weekly practice plans and, whenever possible, be on the field to support volunteer coaches and assist players during training sessions.

Spring League. The spring recreational soccer season starts in early March and runs for approximately ten weeks. All age brackets play 5v5, a fast paced fun version of the game played on a small field, where each player's involvement is maximized. Teams practice 1-2 days a week depending on the age of the group. Games are played on Sundays to avoid conflicts with other spring sports that start in March. All games are played against other ASC teams unless low registration is limiting; in the case of low turnout, we will play games against the 5v5 recreational program from Scott's Valley, and games will be 50% or more home games. Given the small format and field size, coaches and volunteers will referee the games. Teams of the same age will practice at the same time and location to make carpooling easier. Your player's registration fee covers the cost of his or her uniform, field rentals, equipment, and insurance.

If you were born in 2011, 2012, or 2013 and you are interested in playing soccer this Spring, please fill out this form. If we get enough players to form a team we can play games within Aptos Soccer Club and we are working with other clubs to see if they have enough interested to form a teams so we can play games.  Spring 2026 U15 Interest Form

Fall League. The fall recreational soccer season starts at the end of August and runs until mid November. Teams practice 1-2 days a week depending on the age of the group. Games are played on Saturdays starting around the second week of September. At the younger age groups, games are primarily played against other ASC teams. Our U12 & U15 teams play games against recreational teams from other local soccer clubs as part of the Santa Cruz County Recreational League. Your player's registration fee covers the cost of his or her uniform, field rentals, equipment, insurance, trainer time, and for referees at the older age groups.

U10, U12, and U15 - $225
