Registration for Fall 2025 Recreational Soccer is Open!
Interested in volunteer coaching? Parents who serve as head coaches can get 50% of their player's registration fee refunded, not to mention the love of your players and the gratitude of your community. Indicate your interest on the registration questionnaire - or send us an email - and we'll follow up with you. If you end up coaching, we'll give you half your fees back!
Recreational Soccer Program Details:
Aptos Soccer Club's Fall- and Spring Recreational Leagues aim to provide affordable programs where kids have fun, improve their soccer skills, and develop sportsmanship and a love for the game. All teams are led by volunteer parent coaches. A professional coach/trainer will provide weekly practice plans and regularly be on the field to support volunteer coaches and assist players.
Fall League. The fall recreational soccer season starts at the end of August and runs until mid November. Teams practice 1-2 days a week depending on the age of the group. Games are played on Saturdays starting around the second week of September. At the younger age groups, games are primarily played against other ASC teams. Our U12 & U15 teams play games against recreational teams from other local soccer clubs as part of the Santa Cruz County Recreational League. Your player's registration fee covers the cost of his or her uniform, field rentals, equipment, insurance, trainer time, and for referees at the older age groups.
Registration Fee for Fall 2025:
U6 & U8 - $200
U10 & U12 - $225
Spring League. The spring recreational soccer season starts in early March and runs for approximately ten weeks. Teams practice 1-2 days a week depending on the age of the group. Games are played on Sundays to avoid conflicts with other spring sports that start in March. All games are played against other ASC teams. We plan for the Spring season to be the best of fall with improvements where they can be made; teams of the same age will practice at the same time and location to make carpooling easier, we will have a trainer available to help coaches and we hope to keep as much of the season as centrally located as possible. As with fall season, your player's registration fee covers the cost of his or her uniform, field rentals, equipment, insurance, trainer time, and referees if appropriate.

Aptos Soccer Club believes that tight family finances should never get in the way of kids' ability to play sports. We have a limited number of scholarships available to help pay for recreational soccer -- apply HERE.
Where We Play:
The Aptos Soccer Club center of activity is Polo Grounds County Park, where most practices and games are held. Maps of all possible ASC soccer fields can be found HERE.
